Welcome to my blog. I am Yi, an AI researcher, data scientist and engineer based in Hong Kong & Shenzhen.

Having had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, I’ve been accumulating scattered notes and insights over the years. Recently, I’ve found myself with a bit more breathing room in my schedule, so I’ve decided to seize this opportunity to start blogging. I’ll be consolidating my previous notes and sharing ideas, industrial insights, technical tricks, and even something a bit personal, if no one minds, with those who stumble upon my site.

My professional journey has been primarily focused on data science, where I’ve spent the past several years collaborating with financial institutions to develop machine learning applications. The recent emergence of generative AI has been a game-changer for the entire industry—and naturally, it’s captured my attention too. I’ve been diving deep into this rapidly evolving field, exploring how generative AI is transforming various industries and the world.
